You know you can't unring a bell. You can't unscramble an egg. You can't change the fact these people awarded bill Cosby a lifetime achievent award years ago. They did and that will always be the case. Unless you know a guy with a British accent and a large blue box you can't unaware him this. He will always have received it. You can declare him deplorable, you can expelled him from future membership, you can say you regret his award but you can't undo awarding it to him and trying to pretend you can is just an empty and meaningingless gesture.
