Amityville II: The Possession. This 1982 sequel/prequel to the inexplicable 1970s hit, The Amityville Horror should play on endless loops in the cells of incarcerated terrorists. I found it that bad, yep. Mid-way in my brain felt bruised and my eyes felt lashed by whips of ice. A terrible movie in every regard.

Wow, and you have the balls to call
me mean.
Well, at least you didn't recommend "Leonard part 6". Or we're you saving that for convicted pedophiles? ;)
This was the one where the DeFeo guy that killed his parents gets jiggy with his little sister, right?
That is pretty much the ONLY thing I remember about this movie.
I liked it. The end exorcism scene, where the kid's head splits open....! Great BAD movie!
Me and Tiana just watched this 2 nites ago. I had seen it a number of times before.
Tiana liked it! It was her idea to watch it!
A goil after me own heart!
I just revisited this one a few months ago. Still think it's the only movie in the whole Amityville saga that's worth a spit.
It wasn't until I bought the DVD that I realised how unintentional funny Amityville 2 actually is. Acting is over-the-top campy at times, dialogue can get silly and the "family gun" scene had me laughing. On the other hand there are a few genuine spooky moments followed by a ridiculous f/x showdown. That said I think Amityville 2 is very entertaining even for the wrong reason. I wouldn't call it a good movie but it is worthy if you like 'serious cheese.'
Which brings me to Amityville III. Probably more dull in execution than part 2 but I always had a soft spot for III. It is my favorite guilty pleasure Amityville sequel.
