Voor Sononder [By Sundown] is the first Afrikaans language Western, following on from the success of Ken Annakin's The Hellions (1961) and concerns a town during the Anglo-Boer War which stands up to the British invaders and their local lackeys.
Imagine you get greeted like this when entering a town:
"Who are you and what do you want here? If you're en route to somewhere, bugger off. If you're thinking about staying here, forget it." :buggedout:

I forgot to mention that it features the first nude scene in a local film.

Very tasteful female nudity in water and reeds: filmed from behind.
Meh. (Or should I say Eyish? Did I get that word right? They're always saying it on Safari Live.)
