I just watched the restored version the other day.
I had a scratchy looking cut up s**t vhs version of it. I had seen it on PBS in the 70's, but it was on a black and white TV with a cheap uhf antenna. I had speaker wires going from the back onto my curtain rod.
Anyway-I forgot how really good this movie is! :cheers:

You might want to try to find a copy of the comic "Superman's metropolis" which sets the superman mythos in the metropolis setting.

One of the best silent fantasy films as well as being one of the best sci-fi films ever..

I can't get into any comics beyond 1978....
