My blog on Tumblr-Slobber,Drool,Drip!- which I had running for 8 years on Tumblr, and had over 14,000 followers, is- in those words.
"This account has been terminated."
Why? I dunno. I filed a grievance-but-f**k-they aint gonna do nothing.
You must have broken some rule. Copyright violation? Or could be just a mistake. Strange that you would not get a warning, though.
I'm sure you tried this person's advice: http://evemorancil.blogspot.com/2015/11/how-to-restore-terminated-tumblr-blog.html (http://evemorancil.blogspot.com/2015/11/how-to-restore-terminated-tumblr-blog.html)
Anyway, sorry to hear it. If you don't get it back you might want to try https://wordpress.com/ (https://wordpress.com/) free option.
One time mine got suspended - it had been a while since I had used it and it had gotten hacked in to and used by spammers. They reset my account and deleted the spam. Haven't had any problems since. I mainly just use it to post pictures and reblog stuff occasionally. Not for much else.
That's good advice, Rev. Thanks. I'll give those a***oles a few more days to see if they even try.
I know I didn't break no rules. All I post is old monster movie pictures from old magazines and newspapers.
I don't get political or do porn- (like Tumblr gives a f**k about porn ), I was on it, went back to it 2 hours later-it was gone. :bluesad:
Rev might have something there with "copyright" infringement. I do hope you get it back... it was COOL to look at.
Tumblr don't give a f**k copyrights.
I was likely hacked. By punks with nothing better to do.

I checked the link from my side: it says Not Found.
So I just started my 4th (!) version of Slobber, Drool, Drip, and hooked up with some folks I know on Tumblr-and I reckon lotsa blogs we're deleted during the holiday weekend!
Sounds like they were hacked.
So it wasn't only me.
Tumblr has been weird for me the past couple of days as well. I didn't get banned/terminated, but I did notice that a couple of my posts/pics were "hidden" and marked "may contain sensitive material."
...the pix in question were the movie posters for "Deadlier Than The Male" (Elke Sommer/Sylva Koscina in bikinis) and "Everly" (Salma Hayek). Neither were particularly explicit, so I don't know who the hell marked'em "sensitive."
There's a button you can click to have Tumblr "review" such posts, which I did, and about two seconds later I got emails back saying "Sorry, looks like they were marked 'sensitive' by mistake, all good now."

Well, I found out why Tumblr was randomly marking some of my old posts as "explicit" a few weeks ago - it was the start of a site wide purge of all the porn/adult material on the site.
Naughty stuff on Tumblr is nothing new, of course, but apparently some sh** went down recently with people using Tumblr accounts to post/trade illegal s*** so as of yesterday, no more "adult material" of any kind is allowed on Tumblr. Which means... a large part of their user base is now toast!
It doesn't affect my account cuz I didn't post naughty stuff, just movie/music related junk, but geez, when I logged in this AM my feed had certainly become a lot less interesting... oh well (shrugs).
Yeah- I found that out too. Once in a while I'll have a photo from an old horror movie and it shows boobs, so it gets flagged as "sensitive".
I really don't care, but when a kid can turn on TV and see everything....
plus when the censorship is done randomly, like a drooling moron is doing the reviewing... :hatred:
