How can any educated person believe the earth is flat???
thank you sven, but i should have been more explicit. i meant serious questions we think our friends here may be able to answer.
mine is serious, i really need to know what the name of the song is, and who the singer is, for the song in the newest lincoln car commercial. it sounds very 60's rockabilly to me.

Years ago I thought a song on a Saturn commercial was good, so I wrote to Saturn and asked what it was. They answered me within hours. I bet Lincoln could do the same.
It was this commercial, and I still like the song. :-)

thank you, that's a good idea!
today's question is for my fellow mysties here, does anyone know who to contact to try to schedule a rifftrax event?

Not sure what you mean by "schedule a rifftrax event," but you might try asking through their contact form.

ah, thank you rev. we had the mads here last year for 2 nights, my friend( he does the bookings, i occasionally help him find the right contact) thinks he could fill the theater with a rifftrax show. it would be great for all the local fans and would put a goodly amount of money into the restoration fund too!
today's question, i've gotten several answers on FB, but i'm still searching for a better answer. how in the heck do you properly clean a popcorn ceiling, or walls with the same texture? * i can't remove it, i'm a renter now*
You probably have to pat it with a wet sponge.
How do you feed several feral cats on a tight budget?
Coupons, in america. Btw I hope karma rewards you for your kindness. To encourage it i'm karmaing you.

the song is 'A Dog's Wish' by Brook Benton. He was a rock and roll and blues singer in the late 50's.

Some cats are like that.
thank you ronny and john! sven, i'll have hubby try that next time, i'm very short and not allowed to stand on things. vertigo, you know.
trev, if you're on FB, look for pages with feral cats in them, there are people who will help.
today's question. so, i need to create something to set my garden tools on next to my front door, like a sort of patio. would you recommend bricks or pavers? what's going to be the easiest on my back to put down?
I asked my husband, who has experience in this, and he said bricks are usually lighter and more enduring but more expensive and harder to put down, while paving stones are usually heavier and tend to crack and wear sooner, but are much easier to put down in the first place, and unless you're wanting a "legacy project" that lasts decades, he'd try to go with pavers. He also said if you want a cheap source of bricks, seek out area demolition companies, since often in his experience they'll let you come to a site and take as many as you want. I don't know if he was trying to be ironic but he said in either case "it's all about that base" so get a good foundation under your project, and get the best knee pads you can buy.
thank you, and him! what would he recommend for the base? the soil here is mostly red clay, but i have access to free sand if that's better. and tell him i love meghan trainor too, lol!
I shall ask and see what he says.
He said after digging out the area the easiest thing is you put down about half a foot of paver's base or gravel, then atop that is sand. Your pavers or bricks go above that and you fill in the cracks with sand (or mortar if you really want to) then put edging stones around it if you want. He said that should give you a solid, simple not too difficult patio area that should stay low-maintenance for years. He also said they can help you at Home Depot or Lowe's and have free pamphlets there you can pick up, or YouTube has good demo videos, but he said to tell you it's pretty easy and can be kinda fun. Good luck, I hope that helps!
again, thank you both SO MUCH! in chatting with my landlord about the small space i need for my tools, he DID ask about having a communal patio for everyone's grills and lawnchairs out back, he'll love this!
