I'm making cornbeef and cabbage with carrots and potatoes!
I put it in the crook pot at 5:30 this morn. I put taters and carrots in about 10 minutes ago.
My son and his wife are coming over! And Tiana's freind Maria!
I have actually never celebrated St. Patrick Day. There are no parades or festivities in my neck of the woods, and I rarely see anyone wearing green on this day. Interesting enough Halloween is a much much bigger deal here in Germany.
Local social media reveals that some people here do celebrate St. Patrick Day, as in they celebrate their "right" to binge drink on every holiday.
That said, Happy St. Patrick Day everyone!
I made Irish stew with Guinness in it.

It's funny, none of the Irish people I know ever seem to celebrate this day, or even mention it. Still, if you want an excuse to go out and get drunk I see no reason why you shouldn't use this. Happy St Patricks Day to anyone who is, and happy Sunday to anyone who isn't.
I was at a St. Patrick's Day celebration last night, and will be at one this afternoon. However, I am ashamed of the drinking shenanigans that often happen on this day - an excuse.
I saw a guy fall on his face get up and go into another bar yesterday at 2pm. thats right I live in boston.
for some reason I kept calling in Valentines Day all day so happy st patricks day and happy valentines day too everybody

Same. I have quite a few Irish people on my FB friends list and they never ever seem to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. On the other hand, most of my American FB friends posted countless St. Pat's Day celebration pics. Most reminded me of a green tinted version of Spring Break :buggedout:
