I saw a review of a total mess called "night train to terror" that was frankensteined into existence with bits from like 3 cheap schlock movies. The uniting theme was a train was taking peolle who didn't know they were dead to the afterlife while presumably godand the devil we're debating their fates.
In one scene the two come to an impasse and a human, apparetky, the train conductor or coachman, suggests a solution that seems to leave both equally displeased but willing to accept it.
I kinda liked the idea of a "mere mortal" resolving a dispute between cosmic powers like that.
I kinda think the basic idea of NTtT could easily be redone as a much better movie despite how utterly dismal the original was.
Anyone here know a really bad (and yeah this was baaaaad.) dmovie with the germ of a good idea that could and should be salvaged?
Santa Claus Conquers The Martians is absolutely screaming to be remade by Tim Burton (or perhaps Rob Zombie).
Heaven's Gate with an Asylum Films budget.
Titanic. Awful movie and it was longer than it actually took the ship to sink, so they could have done the whole thing in real time.
OT
ADHD: Imagine Shelton Cooper being on a train like that.....
Seen The Nightmare Never Ends, which was used as part of Nighttrain, but I've not seen Nighttrain.
I too would like a remake of Santa Clause Conquers, but I like the original just fine.

"out of africa" , on a string budget, starring whatshername fron soultaker, lol!
Damnation Alley has a lot of potential. I'd maintain the Landmasters, spice up the special effects, and make the story a la Fallout (the video game). They encounter all types of monsters in varied settings and pick up various characters along the way.
