I hate having my picture taken. I never smile. I believe like some American Indian tribes that it steals your soul...which doesn't make a lick of sense.
I also believe some inanimate objects have souls.
And I'm an atheist, mind you.
I too often made a goofy face in pix and in most pictures of my family all together here in my house... idiot.
I believe I know enough to be dangerous... to anyone's belief system.
I am very superstitious about cutting down trees, stepping on ants, killing spiders... I won't do any of those.
If I find any critter in my house, like bats-which we have had a couple a year get in. I just open doors and grab a broom.
I won't kill spiders either- or destroy they're webs. I do not try to kill ants. In fact, as a kid, If I swatted and killed a wasp, I would find an anthill and feed them! They would go crazy! Manna from God!
I believe if you give a man a fish you feed him for a day, but if you teach him to fish he might catch the fish you were after.
Whenever we get a decent coat of snow on the ground (which hasn't happened in 4 years now), I always make it a point to run outside, barefoot, in shorts and a T-shirt and do a lap around the house while yelling "woo woo woo!!" in a falsetto voice.
Other than that I have no strange habits . . . ;-)
