Ok there was a old vampire movie with a woman who was obsessed with immortality. Somehow she gets shot before she is turned into a vampire by another vampire, but her desire to be one was so sttrong the vampire was able to essentially raise her from the dead as a vampire, he stood outside her coffin and called to her, telling her to come back. He told her it would hurrt to breathe again fora moment but it passed.
The Dr. Helsing character was surprised she came back but realized her morbid nature made it possible for a vampire to raise her from the dead as one.
I guess i'll just wait to RCM sees this and tells me want it was.
You already know what your looking for. Your testing people.
Not cool.
Y' think? :bouncegiggle:  Only Sven knows.
No, I can't remember the title. It wasn't son of dracula I think. It might be but I think it was a different one. I saw it long ago. I think itwas like son of dracula but not actually it.
I looked thru clips of son of dracula and it just doesn't seem to have the scene where the vampire talks the dead woman back, telling her it hurt to breath for a moment but it would pass.
I apoligize.I thought SON OF DRACULA as well. What did the vampire look like?
I think it is SON OF DRACULA (1942). The first thing I thought when I read the thread was 'Louise Albritton" in SOD with Lon Jr.
I really don't know. I know itcs like nearly SOD but I remember the woman being in a coffin and he vampire being next to it or maybe becoming mist and entering it, and gently speaking to her to come back, telling her that something like he knew it was hards it hurt to breath again at first but the pain would pass quickly. She started coming back. It was B&W I can't remember what the vampire looked like.
Perhaps the RETURN OF DRACULA (1958)?
Once again RCM comes through!

I knew it wasn't son of dracula but I can see where the belief it was came from.
This movie was just on comettv tonight. Yep had the scene. I forgot the smimeball vampire murdered a cat.
This can be moved to solved.
It was easy to confuse it with SoD especially after not seen either in aeons.
