Sonic looks absolutely ghastly and Jim Carey as Dr. Eggman makes me want to die.
I thought Detective Pikachu looked terrifying but this is somehow even more of a CGI fever induced nightmare.

Yeah, I heard that the the trailer had such a poor reception (Yup, 35k dislikes) that they are going back to change things. They can pollish the turd all they want, but it's still going to be a turd.
And still, everyone is going to dump their money on it anyways. We will never learn.
Jim Carrey seems especially annoying here.
He's acting like he's trying to trying to remember how "funny Jim Carrey" is supposed to act and just can't quite do it.

The trailer has some good-looking scenes, if you can ignore the ugly Sonuc model. But a couple of good scenes don't make for a good movie.
Sounds like a generic story; the same basic plot as The Cat From Outer Space, ET, Escape from Witch Mountain, etc.
So, I hear this sucked.
