Ok just to get into this meme, if godzilla existed in the star wars universe it would explain some things.
We know godzilla is physically impossible in any scientific terms, but if he exists in the SW universe maybe his existence is explained by the force. He's so huge he has tremendous force power due to the largest co certration of mitichloridians in the known universe. The force lets him exist at his impossible size, it heals him, protects him from damage and his heat ray is just a massive version of force energy projection.
Honestly, Vader might feel godzilla's force levels and order a full retreat.
