Brightburn has just opened in the cinemas, and it looks like a direct take on the Superman origin story. But in this instance, it asks the question, what if the baby alien had been a stone cold psychopath? Such is the world of Brightburn, an R rated superhero horror movie.

Reviews are mixed, saying that it isn't as good as it could be, although I think I'd be pretty happy with how it purportedly plays out.
