Title: The Best and Worst of David F. Friedman
Post by: dcj2112 on June 13, 2019, 03:35:11 PM
I haven't seen it yet, but I really want to see Johnny Firecloud. It looks badass!

Other than that Color Me Blood Red is the movie I've seen from him that most resembles a conventional good movie. Although I hardly watch his stuff because I'm looking for something conventionally good.

I've seen BLOOD FEAST, 2000 MANIACS, SHE FREAK, and ILSA-SHE WOLF OF THE SS.
2000 MANIACS is the best of the bunch.

I'm surprised you haven't seen Color Me Blood Red, the final chapter in the Blood Trilogy. I'd definitely recommend it!

I've seen all the ones you mentioned except Ilsa. I may give it a shot sometime since I'm a completist, but I find Naziploitation difficult to watch.

I did read somewhere that the actress who played Ilsa now does weddings as her.

She Freak is the worst unless you like long shots of people setting up carnival tents. southern fried horror was done much better in 2000 maniacs and basically anywhere else
