Just binged the 2 seasons of The good place and was pretty Impressed.
I liked the idea that most known religions average getting about 5% of the actual truth right. The plot twists and turns were very interesting and kept you guessing. The characters , well some of them grew on you. Most did. I never got to where I liked the moron.
Not perfect, but one so called "weak point" appealed to me.
and who might the moron be? if you mean jason, i quite like him. a lack of education doesn't make someone a moron. the majority of morons i know are, if anything, over educated, for no apparent reason.

You're trolling. He was a moron, thru and thru.
when i'm trolling, you'll know it. i simply get irritated when even a tv character is judged like that. if you go back and rewatch the series and pay attention, you'll find that jason actually solves issues that the" smarter" people can't. he has common sense, pridi, for example, doesn't.
I get irritated when someone arrogantly implies I didn't pay attention because I disagree with them. That character was an idiot and everyone on the show said it. He happened to do the right thing when the plot called for it like the molotov scene, but he was an idiot.
i wish you nothing but enjoyment when season 3 shows up on netflix. i know I'LL enjoy watching again! :cheers:
I like the show, the idiot character never grew on me.
One thing I do love is the way the show exposes the total inanity of a totally binary afterlife.
Seriously, there are a million shades of grey in real life, and I don't care what any ancient "holy buuk" says. The idea that if there is any sort of afterlife it has to be rigidly divided into all good vs all bad is just stupid. Most peolle living in the world know this at some level, if anything created the universe it'd have to know it too.
I know very few people who truly deserve a perfectly good or totally bad afterlife, most peolle have both good and bad.
