No- not the TV show...movies about nature gone mad. Giant critters count too!
Here's one from 1977, I barely remember...but it's got Christopher and Linda Day George, so you know it's quality entertainment.

Via t grasshoppers attack in the horribly made "Them! " ripoff "beginning of the end".

Peter graves was in this movie, an even worse pile of steaming celluloid excremental than "killers from space". Perhaps one episode of mission impossible should have focused on a mission to find and destroy every copy of this mess.
If there was a good scene in this movie (and boy is that a big if) it was when a deaf mute man was attacked and eaten by a horribly matted on grasshopper. The idea of a deaf man unabvke to hear the monster coming his way and trying to scream as it closed in to eat him was probably the only moment in the movie that induced any feeling beyond good natured ridicule or laughable scorn.
I got DAY OF THE ANIMALS on blu ray. strange to see Leslie Nielsen as a genuinely unlikeable bad guy character...
recently saw a couple of newies, SHARK SHOCK (aka TRAILER PARK SHARK), and TERROR BIRDS. both crap, and not in a good way
I want to see BEAKS! THE MOVIE, from 1986. from the clips I've seen it looks like it might be even 'worse' (better) than BIRDEMIC
EMPIRE OF THE ANTS and SLUGS deserve a mention

Well on WIKI they say 1971... IMDB says it was released July 30, 1971... which makes more sense in my own memory... we moved A LOT.

I've got the blu ray of GRIZZLY too...in the bonus extras there's a making-of documentary that suddenly and inexplicably starts showing full frontal nude photos of Christopher George. wtf? I wish I could unsee that
