....no, not Florida.
Instead it's about Manos: The Hands of Fate! (https://www.badmovies.org/movies/manos/). I'm about 3300 words into it - it's supposed to be a minimum of 5000 words. Due on August 5th.
God, my brain hurts.
Definitely the BEST of REALLY BAD.

Are you explaining how Manos is no longer the absolute slowest movie ever made since Octaman exists?
That wasn't what I was going to guess.
I was going to guess ALF.
Remember to mention that it was produced by a fertilizer saleman who produced more manure with Manos.
How does Manos fit in with law school?
I would write about BIRDEMIC. I don't care if I fail the test, at least I warned all the people in there.

The movie is so bad its against the law?
I hadn't heard anything about your law school adventures in quite a while. Glad to hear you're finishing it up.
Maybe the paper is a case study in sexual harassment featuring Torgo?
Hmm, law school and manos.... Is it about how a movie can pass into public domain and then become a money maker anyone can capitalize on with merchandise? Honestly I think more money has been made off manos with merchandizing and riftfig and mst3k after it went PD than when it was in the theater. (I mean literally in THE theater, i think it was shown in like one.)
BTW, does anyone know what happened totm he original manos painting and costume? I bet those would bring in a few grand at a bad movie prop auction.

Going to sleep on it then turn it in either tomorrow or Sunday at the latest.
f**k, it feels so good to be done with it.

I believe that the Warren family still has possession of both of them. Hal used to wear the Master's robe every Halloween and his son continued the tradition. I believe they loaned it out to the Neyman family so Tom could have pictures taken in it before returning it to Warren.

You still haven't told us what the paper's about. Intellectual property?

I'm not sure any court would rule that manos was "intellectual"property...

Sorry yeah pretty much. It was mainly about the attempted trademarking of Manos by Hal's son Joe Warren and why it was a good thing that failed.
The Master approves!
The things I do for law school...

I'm watching the special edition blu ray with the Jackey Neyman-Jones and Tom Neyman audio commentary to see if there's anything to add to the paper. Otherwise I'm turning it in tonight.

Turned it in Sunday evening. Felt good to get it gone.
