I heard recently that they are going to be working on a 6th of the Leprechaun films. Perosnally I'm looking foward to it as I think the Leprechaun films are really funny, what about you?
Please,please...no more,no more!!!
It's just bad enough that they make these terrible "Friday The 13the"/Jason movies, and needless "Halloween" sequels(who someone ever write a suequel that's as close to being as good and frightening as "Halloween 2" was?!),but there's just no more need for any of these "Leprechaun" films(guess
Warwick Davis quickly blew all of his pay,and royalties, from the last movies, for the producers to be making this one).
If we're lucky, maybe they'll have Gary Busey or Eric Roberts in this one,and have either Fred Olen Ray or Jim Wynorski directing it.
Well, Warwick Davis says he actually likes making these films, as he thinks the Leprechaun is a fun character. I personally agree. I don't class these as proper horror films, they seem to be very tongue in cheek. Plus you can take a death by pojo stick seriously?
Yeah, I can see how Davis likes playing the nasty little over-the-top murdering bastard, as well as the paychecks--and nobody's making me watch any of them, so I don't really care.
Until the magical day Hollywood and its offshoots in Canada and elsewhere implode in self-consuming fireballs, hundreds of crappy, worthless movies will go straight to video every year whether I watch 'em or not. It doesn't matter if it's Leprechaun vs. Billy Jack or Delta Burke Force or Turbulence 6. You just hope one or two don't suck nuts. There are so many coming out every week, and so many are so clearly unwatchable, I rarely rent the damn things anymore; instead, I spend a half-four or so each week going into the rental store to laugh at the display boxes. It's free!
Leprechaun in The hood was awful (save for about 2 cool scenes), but all of the others are great.

*remembers Lep in the Hood rap* Oh the pain! The humanity! I need my medication now.........
Lep in the Hood come to do no good! Seeing a Leprechaun rap is one of the funniest things I've seen in film.
I love the leprechaun movies but the rap was godawful.
