Itcs been said that the next bond movie would replace 007 with a black woman and become "the spy who killed the bond franchise".
Now the latest announcement contradicts this.

I doubt they ever really planned to "replace Bond with a black woman." It sure got those fanboys good and angried up though.
So much for the rumor that black actor Idris Elba would play Bond in the next film.
