GOLDFINGER (1964) on TCM right now 12:15 am EST
A movie that set the mold for a lot of bond tropes. The arrogant Uber rich main villain, his bizarre henceman, gadgets, babes, etc.
One of the few old movies to kind of get lasers right. I mean a very powerful focused laser would act kind if like the one they had in it if you could get the power up that high.
Photographed by SA's first Oscar winner.

Shhh, be quiet. Bad typing.
GOLDFINGER was always my favorite Bond film.
They've been having a Bond Marathon all week on Pluto TV! Mostly the Sean Connery films! I never realized how many actors played Blofeld! Donald Pleasence, Telly Savalas, and Charles Gray, to name a few!
GOLDFINGER is easily the most fun of the SEAN CONNERY Bond films. It is such a STOOPID story, though. My favorite part always was the end with Goldfinger in the plane... shvoompfook!

Take more than you to Make Me be quiet, b***h.
I hope they show thunderball soon. That was likely my favorite Connery bond movie. The scene with the plane being hijacked and landed in the water was so well done you could actually believe it could be done as you watched it. They really made it look perfectly plausible.
As to the most fun Connery bond I though diamonds are forever was the funniest. As politically Incorrect as the gay hitmen were I couldn't help laughing. Bond talking with the mouse was kind of funny too. Blofeld was so over the top you had to laugh. The Howard Hughes parody by Jimmy Dean was a bit that was good at the time but people don't get now.
THUNDERBALL came on at 2:15 am, right after GOLDFINGER.
