Title: I was looking through lists of the best horror films and found a familiar image

Never knew where Rev's avatar was from until I saw this list. Then again, I never asked.

NIGHT OF THE HUNTER was CHARLES LAUGHTON's only directorial effort.  A longtime favorite in my family's household due to frequent broadcasts in the '60s and '70s.  I guess it's fair to call it a "horror film" though I think of it as a fairy tale.  It's unique, a masterpiece.

Agreed: it's also the only film Dad and I disagreed on ever. He thought it was bad, I thought it was great.
