LOTF (not to be confused with LOTR) continues to be bad. This movie captivated half the girls I went to high school with but I reviled it then and having seen twenty minutes of it the other night, I can honestly say I don't even like it as much as I used to. It rivals Dances With Wolves for the way its supporters insist on how great it is, despite it being at best trite.
On a rating scale of 1 to 10 human-eating bears, in this case the bear goes hungry with a goose egg.
I dunno. I think DANCES WITH WOLVES (extended cut) is a fabulous movie. LEGENDS OF THE FALL is barely a movie.

I have long hated
LEGENDS OF THE FALL. Think
BRAD PITT's man bun tucked up under his WWI helmet...  So full of
MEANING and bnllsh!t.
Now as far as
DANCES WITH WOLVES... "cool" California white people wanna be "Native American," as in
rogue! Always thought that was horsesh!t... uhm, but we do get to see
KEVIN COSTNER's
ass. :tongueout:
^ Sweet Satan save us! :buggedout:
I'm glad you said it, Hallows- because I was thinking it.
I was seeing this woman Ellie, and she said she loved this movie- while we were watching ENTER THE DRAGON. I knew right then and there "This ain't gonna work".
One of those films I've heard people talk about but have never watched. I feel like I've seen it from all the conversations I've heard/read about it if that helps.

Trust me, it helps if you don't watch it. It delivers a slow death of a different kind.
It's like Fu Manchu torture.

:bouncegiggle: Didn't like it at all, eh?
Like eating rock soup. Or drinking toilet water.
I only did it because I had no choice.
Of course I did have a choice- and that was watch this s**t and maybe get laid. I watched it.
I got laid. It wasn't worth it. I coulda jerked off in 5 minutes. Without the mental hernia.

:bouncegiggle: You are such a pig.
A pig that just got hit with them electric cattle prods.
I wasn't at the point that I would put peanut butter on my dick and call the dog, but it was close!
I would have f**ked a pile of rocks if there was a snake in it!
So I watched Legends of the Fall. :bluesad:
And I'm holding hands with this women, and in my other hand is a whiskey bottle.
Once again, booze saved my life! :drink:
Last line: "It was a good death." Yeh. It ended.

Kristi just told me she has never seen this one either.
I guess if we ever have a BMDO meetup this has to be the automatic choice for us all to watch. :bouncegiggle: :twirl: :drink:

It would end up like Jonestown.

I remember when it first came out, I really wanted to bang Stands With A Fist. I think this was one of the last movies that she was in before she turned into an old woman.

Bad movie, I agree. Edward Zwick is one of those directors who's tried everything in his career, only to do everything wrong.
Obviously, I can't think of LOTF as a good movie by any means, but I admit that whenever it's on TV I always find its epic pretensions very entertaining.
