What would you do with 90% of a million dollars?
I wouldn't buy a Darth Vader helmet, that's for sure!
With over 1 million AUD, I'd pay off a few debts, take out a bit of spending money, and put the majority of it into medium yield investments. Nothing fancy.
Having said that, an original Darth Vader helmet, especially one that was worn by Dave Prowse in the original trilogy, is a stunning piece of memorabilia. Imagine if it was from the original Star Wars movie, it might have fetched even more from frenzied buyers. But what would you do with it? Would you keep it in a display cabinet in your house? Would you stash it in a security deposit box (do they make one big enough?).
I read about a guy who bought a Val Kilmer Batman suit, and he wore it out for Halloween. He said it felt amazing, like a suit of armour.
