Truthfully, was everyone drunk in the 1970s?
I watched it when boxing was on. I saw many of Ali's fights on it. I was a big boxing fan.
I watched ABC's Wide World of Sports or CBS Sports Spectacular almost every Saturday,
I liked it when Ali and Howard Cosell got into it.
I still love boxing-except it ain't on TV no more. All they got is this TMA s**t.

Truthfully, was everyone drunk in the 1970s?
When we elected an inept peanut farmer who's brother tried to market his own line of beer?
When a washed up football player made a number of movies in which a good guy moon shine runner against a corrupt sheriff, finally getting famous in a movie about a pair of guys trying to smuggle a truckload of Coors across state lines?
Yes, I believe they were.
Hey- I liked those movies back then! :drink:
The intro was great too.

It was cool to never know what sport would be on. You never knew what they would show: could be boxing, could be bowling, could be jai-alai. You got exposed to stuff you wouldn't have thought of watching otherwise.
But they all had the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat.
