Title: Bad South African business decisions
Post by: Trevor on November 04, 2019, 03:20:44 AM
It's great that the Springboks won the 2019 Rugby World Cup but nor so good for the online retailer Takealot.com www.takealot.com (http://www.takealot.com) who promised a full refund of the price of certain TVs if the Springboks won.

Whoops: they're now in the hole for ZAR4 million!  :buggedout:

Well, the Springboks won, the promotion was over and then this happened:

The gent will now be getting his money back: I would have told them to shove that TV up their butts sideways.  :buggedout:

Current exchange rate: that's $267.820 dollars US plus 8 cents. Still a hell of a lot of money.
