Title: Kalifornia
Post by: ER on December 09, 2019, 10:06:24 AM
Ever paused to notice the word "Kali" in the title of this movie about a lot of murders? Wonder if that was intentional? Personally I think Kali cursed David Duchovny to spend his career acting in projects that have a misspelling of California in the title. Think about it.

All that aside, I think Early Grayce is Brad Pitt's best character and best acting job. I mean that.

Four and a half screaming dying rich girls out of five.

good thing david spent so much time doing the x files and twin peaks, the residuals are pure gold for him, lol!

I heard he was getting paid $225k per episode, which is a lot by most measures. Shooting season was around 24 episodes, shot in about ten days per episode. Lower budget films are often shot in 12-15 days, so they were essentially making a smaller feature film each time. As for his residuals, who knows. If I was making bank like that, I'd live like a hermit and stash it in low risk investments. I wonder what he got for the recent X-Files series?

i think he's one of those rare birds that actually just WANTS to act and doesn't worry much about money. they seem to be even rarer nowdays... :bluesad: it's all about the money. even on my soaps... :bluesad:
