Ugh (https://www.kcrg.com/content/news/Icy-roads-reported-as-winter-storm-pushes-into-Iowa-566886441.html)
I went home after lunch today and worked from home this afternoon. I picked up pizza for tomorrow evening. Looks like I won't be doing much this weekend.
I'd really like to see a decent snowfall this winter. It's been four years now without more than the lightest dusting.
We're supposed to get hit by an ice storm tonight and tomorrow. :bluesad:
It was in the 60s here in Massachusetts today and they are predicting similar temperatures for tomorrow. People must have thought it was summer and decided to go out and drive around. My wife and I went out to lunch and traffic was terrible everywhere.
It hasn't rained or snowed. It's just real cold with a strong cold wind.
It's building up!
burgo -where the f**k do you live in MAss again?
It's been yo-yoing between -4 and +4 C since christmas, with occasional spikes up to 8-9 C. Talk about a mild winter season. Forecast thinks there probably won't be snow this January. On the other hand my heating bill will be peanuts but I rather pay more for snow

Well, yesterday we got our 1st bit of snow for the season. It was cold enough you could see the flakes fall, but not cold enough to last, when it hit the ground. Which was to the good, as I wanted to go somewhere yesterday afternoon, then decided not to go. Today we are back to spring time temperatures with the high in the 60s.
We got snow on the ground, but not enough to even notice. I can still see the dead pumpkins in the front yard.
And done more coming in this afternoon and tomorrow.
f**k.
Don't need that. I hope it's done early because I have plans.
