As in the bathroom.
I have some Mad magazines on the tank.
So- what ya reading while sitting on the pot? :question:
I may whip out my smartphone and look stuff up on it real quick. I don't read on the can-- I want to do my business and go.
Honestly, our bathrooms are the only rooms in the house without books. Books are everywhere else.
Jokes for The John, it's a book on a hook.
This is my toilet library.

3 books stay there permanently:
* The Psychotronic Encyclopedia of Film
* The Psychotronic Video Guide
* Mail Order Mysteries: Real Stuff from Old Comic Book Ads
In addition, I usually have:
* Whatever Doc Savage paperback I happen to be reading
* 2 or 3 comic books
My journal - that 's where I do my heavy writing!
And one or two of my cartoon anthologies - DILBERT, BLOOM COUNTY, GET FUZZY. I rotate them as I read.
A dictionary... a thesaurus... Strunk and White's Elements of Style... oh, THAT library...
cirque du freak volume 2.
The bookshelf in my powder room has a book on manners and and another on Victorian etiquette and one about poop. For a while I had a joke book in there and when my husband's cousin was visiting one day, he used the bathroom and came out and immediately told us a bunch of jokes from the book and we called him out on it and he angrily denied that he got them from the book and said he'd known those jokes for years and didn't even see the book.
