Okay, yes, the coronavirus has killed a few hundred people, but think of all the coronaviruses scientists have killed by now in the lab. Millions? Billions? Can't we be empathetic enough to understand the rage of the oppressed? If you watched your family die on a petri dish, wouldn't you want to infect the species that brought that about? Perspective and compassion, people!

They say 60% - 70% of the population will contract the virus. Kinda scary thinking about that.

The mantra our government is continually repeating is if you have symptoms then "self isolate" for two weeks. They've decided that numbers of infected in the UK are such that a large scale outbreak is now inevitable and they are just now trying to delay it until the weather improves to give vulnerable people the best chance of surviving.
Panic buying has started with some local shops being out of hand sanitiser, milk, bread and bleach. Fortunately, we keep several weeks worth of food stored in advance so this isn't really going to affect us for a while yet.
I don't think folks should go into panic mood is smart. But neither is acting like it's going to go away all by it's lonesome.
Either you catch it and deal with it as best you can or you don't. Beyond taking basic precautions I don't see the point in throwing your entire life out of wack for this one. It isn't the Black Death.
