CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON
This had been annouced for
decades. I hope it never happens. Most likely will look like the pussified version seen in the SHAPE OF WA WA.

SPAWN
Okay,
Spawn actually deserves a remake that's far better than the crappy movie we got. Given the comic's storytelling style, though, a series on a streaming service would probably be better than another movie.
Word is that Wesley Snipes will be playing Dracula in the Blade reboot and that the Nightmare on Elm Street reboot is going to be followed by a rebooted Freddy Vs Jason.
Imo Michael Jai White was great as Al Simmons / Spawn
but... I didn't enjoy the John Leguizamo Clown / Violator parts lol
I still think the HBO Spawn: The Animated Series was the best...
with that said. I'd watch a remake of this... sure

I also noticed on that list...
.SUSPIRIA-remake Argento?
.DAY OF THE DEAD-
AGAIN? How many times has this f**king been done?
.the GRUDGE-they f**ked it up by Americanizing the original...but not enough, I guess.

.SUSPIRIA-remake Argento?
That one was actually good. The plot was totally different, the only thing that was the same was that it was a horror movie set at a dance school run by witches. Didn't mimic Argento's style, found it's own. Absolutely the perfect way to do a "remake."
Another upcoming remake: LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2391023/?ref_=fn_al_tt_2 (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2391023/?ref_=fn_al_tt_2) . Based on the musical, not Corman.
The Suspiria 'remake' was great. They added interesting things, and as mentioned, it stands pretty much on its own. Definitely worth watching.

ooooh boy :bluesad:
Creativity died a long time ago, and it's all our fault, because we give them money to watch this garbage.
Last I heard of a Blob remake, Rob Zombie was attached and he didn't want to include any big pink slime monster because it looked silly. Since then he dropped the project. Has somebody else picked it up?
For many years there have been rumours of Escape from New York remake and Big Trouble In Little China, which has went as far as having Dwayne Johnson attached as the star.
^According to Zombie No 1's list, both are in production.

I always see The blob as
translucent purple lol!
also I say RC spots something in this photo within 1 second lol!
yep, RC is a massive fan of air conditioning...
Sure do! I love DAUGHTER OF HORROR (1955)!
Actually, Lugosi did many live spook show in the 50's on stage before a film played in many theaters!
Of course, when the BLOB was made, Bela had been dead for 2 years. Oddly, the film the BLOB was on a triple bill with DINOSAURUS (1960), and MY SON THE VAMPIRE (1952) aka the VAMPIRE starring Lugosi, in 1960!
