Been a bit since I've posted, thought I'd check in and say, "Hello!" Hope all is going well with everyone.
Virus hasn't shut down my place of work (yet) but it did get reallly slow for a few days. Still, during the lunch period, you'd hardly tell there were a bunch of people advising us to not go out as little as possible. In other areas, we've had some restaurants/fast food places close down except for the drive thru, but there's been no "official" order for it. Unlike in Illinois (which I live just a few minutes from the border of) where all bars and restaurants are closed for two weeks.
Anyhoo, it might still happen, but so far, we've just changed a few things. Got hand sanitzer on the front counter, reminders about hand washing, all the Parmesan and hot pepper shakers have been replaced with packets, and we're using single serving plastic silverware instead of metal silverware.

I'm kind of happy things are locked down in Illinois.. I know it sucks, but hoping it will be for the greater good in the end and hopefully make this lockdown shorter and more efficient. We had to postpone a trip to Alton that we were really looking forward to. I really wanted to stand at the meeting of the rivers and see if I could tell which one was longer.

I'm here, alive and kicking. Things are increasingly locked up in Australia; they have just closed to borders to non residents and non citizens, and Australians are strongly encouraged to stay here. We're all practicing social distancing and good hygiene, or at least, we're very much told to do so. I hope everyone else in badmovies land is doing okay.
I miss Trek Geezer, Psycho Circus, Dogget, Menard, and Sister Grace and Scott. I miss Ash. He stops in once in a blue moon, but not enough..

When I joined, some long lost members sent me PM's saying that I should be careful of Dr Menard: the odd thing was that he was one of the first to welcome me here, along with you, Ash and RC. :smile:
i miss my dear JPickettIII, but at least we( trev and i) hear from him on FB now and then.. he was my bestie here for years...no offense, because i love you guys, but J and i really TALKED. we don't so much anymore, and i miss that...
Psycho Circus and Dogget used to be on FB. Psycho Circus (or was it Dogget?) unfriended me on FB for reasons unknown about 5-6 years ago after he became a father. That's the last thing I know.
I've "lost" many close online friends over the years. Some retreated from social media for personal reasons, others took a "new" identity and started posting at other places but burned bridges with former message board friends. Myself abandoned horrordigital 5 years ago after posting there for over 12 years. I lurk once in a while and sometimes I see my name is still mentioned. However, the old gang split and my priorities collecting physical media changed. I'm just not feeling the old forum dynamics anymore. No motivation or bigger reason to post there. Just saying that things happen and people change and move on but yeah, we still miss them.

It was Psycho Circus (Chris): he even went away from FB after he became a dad.
