Just checking up: hope no one is sick or feeling bad because of this $#@%^&^ virus.
I've had two projects cancelled because of it so I hope things clear up soon.
Please take care of yourselves xx
Thank you, you too. All is well here. Well except after a week inside my son is calling an ax Jack. Is that bad?

Nope.
I've decided trips to the river count as "social distancing" as long as I don't stop to eat anywhere on the way home.
I just went to get some takeout food and before the lady at the drive thru took my money, she sprayed both my hands (asked permission first though) which was nice.
Shops here are refusing to take money, insisting on card payments only.
Right now I am feeling a whole lot better than I did last night. I've had a sinus headache for several days, and last night it hit migraine levels. My skin also felt incredibly sensitive and irritable.
Thank you Trevor, you too. All's well

we're good, brother T, thanks for asking. since we're homebodies anyway, no stress or crazy making boredom here! and if curtis does get laid off, we have a wicked p**sah good governor who has already waived waiting time and extended benefits just in case. at worst, he can go ahead and go on SS, we'll be fine.
My social calendar has actually exploded. My family has been hosting gatherings (of less than 10 people) every night.
Same old, same old. Sit home, read. Play on the computer, watch TV, play cards or shoot dice with Tiana (we use Monopoly money). This virus thing has just put the rest of the world where I been for the last 5 years.
I feel like this isolation is glorious. I missed everyone so much over the winter and now there's time for everything. I know the world is crumbling to dust and people are suffering, and I'm sorry that it is so, but at the same time, so far, I'm really happy.
If I should die from this, let that be remembered.
I am basically living the life of a pro skateboarder which is strange because I'm really not very good, particularly after just coming off a broken ankle.
When I go to and from the park I keep my Uber open and have given a couple rides here and there.

If it helps, think of yourself as just being ahead of the curve. I wonder if anyone is making bumper stickers that say "I was socially isolating before it was cool?"
Our Prez has just declared 21 days of lockdown in South Africa effective midnight on Thursday.
Apologies for this but f**king hell!!!!!

In 5 minutes PM 'BJ' is going to make an announcement on what the government is going to do next. First time in many years I'll be listening to a politicians statement rather than picking up the highlights later.
I'm going a little nuts
Didn't help that my computer needs repairs and I will be without it for a bit
Bored as hell, greatful for my massive movie collection to give me something to do
Hi Trev! After eight weeks confined to the house with my broken leg, I have the stay-in-place thing pretty much mastered. I passed 'going nuts' six weeks ago, however. 😉.
we're homebody stickinthmuds anyway, we're fine. as long as i can cook , i'm good. as long as he can eat, he's god. so we've got at least 2 months of good. but i may not be present much, to avoid undue stress for him via me yelling at the puter and the idiots i can't slap. easier on bothof us that way.and my online peeps too, lol!
