Ever watch a movie, and in it there's some add for another fake movie and you're just thinking to yourself "I would totally watch that."
This is a topic for those movies.
The first two that immediately come to mind are Ghandi II from UHF and The Night the Reindeer Died from Scrooged.
There was also talk in the Scream movies about a Stab sequel that features time travel.
Also Arnold Swartzenager's hamlet would have been a good one.
"To be or not to be".
*EXPLOSION*
"Not to be".
Some of the fake trailers for the Tarantino/Rodregiez Grindhouse I would have loved to have seen made in a movie, primarily the Werewolf Women of the SS with Nic Cage as Fu Manchu.
ANGELS WITH EVEN FILTHIER SOULS from HOME ALONE II. The title sounds delightfully cheesy.
Matinee (1993) has...

THE LAST HORROR FILM has a few clips from fake horror movies, but you never find out the titles. One clip shows a woman in a jacuzzi being electrocuted, another shows a witch (I think) having her face burned off... nice.

a really weird thing about THE LAST HORROR FILM is that there's a scene where the camera randomly pans around a street and focuses on a billboard poster for a film called 'STAB', then literally 30 seconds later a radio announcer voiceover starts talking about Caroline Munroe's character (she plays an actress) starring in a new film called SCREAM. ...how random is that?!
That movie in He Knows You're Alone.
Once Upon A Time In Hollywood (2019) has a bunch that I wish were real.

Trying to remember this movie I kept seeing back in the 80s....
It opens with a young couple doing it in the back of their car, when the boy sees or hears someone & steps out to investigate.
Turns out, it's the fake movie, as we see two young women sitting in a theater watching as the killer in the real movie walks in & sits behind them.
The real tension to the scene is built by the fake movie, as the girl on the screen gets nervous & starts calling out to her boyfriend that she's "not letting him back in."
Then the obligatory shock moment, everyone in the theater screams. The killer takes this opportunity to stab one of the girls in the back, then calmly walk out; no one is the wiser, until a few moments later whet her gal pal sees her crumple over, & in the dark, feels the blood on her back.
All I really remember about this movie, is that you know who the killer is, he seems to know his victims, and they're all engaged to be married.

I don't think it has a title (watched it last night to see if I could get a name), but the movie playing in the cinema during Demons.

I believe it's the MASK OF SATAN or the MASK OF THE DEMON.
In TRUE ROMANCE they watch a screening of a sequel to a war movie called NO NAME ON THE BULLET.

I think there at one point were plans to make THANKSGIVING?
I completely forgot that Machete was on that one.
