if anyone remembers these two movie titles id greatly appreciate it. kinda vague but here goes.
1) Some kids ressurect a rock star by playing his record backwards. they end up getting rid of him by trapping him in a raido station or something.
2) 3 americans get captured, tortured and put in a russian prison one night as they were drunk and decided to sneak in to the USSR.
1. "Trick Or Treat"(1986)A stinker of a movie,but it did have its moments,with both Gene Simmons and(current media darling/MTV celebrity)Ozzy Osbourne enjoying cameos as media-associated victims of the undead rocker's rampage.Really cool songs by Fastway,though(what ever happened to ex-Motorhead guitarist "Fast" Eddie Clarke?that guy was heavily talented,and practically disappeared off the face of the Earth).
2."Born American"(1987)Was just thinking about this mediocre movie today:Renny Harlin's debut film,with Mike Norris(Chuck's son)drunkenly crossing the Russian border with his buddies,and not only ending up in a tortuous Russian bootcamp prison,but becoming the sole survivor to literally karate kick his way to freedom(having Chuck as your Dad is a good sign).Was theatrically released at the time independent drive-in genre distributors started going belly-up(which heavily dawned in 1989).
