I just heard on FB that our good friend Raffine (Tony) passed away suddenly: I knew he was ill but he seemed to be doing OK. :bluesad: :bluesad:
man that sucks i didn't know him like you folks here but i'm sorry to hear that he passed away
R.I.P.
So sad. One of the nicest guys. I will miss him.
Very sad. He had a great sense of humor and was an accomplished bassoon player.
I'm pretty sure that's him in the center second row, bassoon player with glasses.

He also loved Andy Milligan, for some reason. R.I.P.
A hell of a nice guy with a wonderful sense of humor, and a fellow Monster Kid.
Goodbye, Tony. :bluesad:

Tony was a great guy, well read, damned witty, and nice. I'm hurt to hear it. Good night, TONY, we all love you.
^ yeah. That really shakes me. He was a great guy. He was my first buddy on the Classic Horror Film Board when I first joined about the time I joined this board. A very kind and talented man.
^ Tony was a true gentleman. I love that guy. Here's to Raffine:
RIP raff. you were such a nice man, my deepest sympathies to your loved ones, and all of here who loved you. :bluesad:
RIP very sorry to hear that.
No... Christ, that can't be, I just logged on here for the first time in ever to see this. Raffine, may you only ever have to suffer through a Polonia Brothers movie again whenever you blessed well feel like it
Well, Doc, we're all a bit sad at Raffine's passing.
But it is good to see you back here.
Don't stay away so long next time!
I am very sorry to hear about Raffine passing. He was always a very kind person. I cannot recall him being anything beside polite and with interesting thoughts on movies - or any topic. The type of good person my daughter says that "the world needs to protect, because you want them to stay."

Hey there Andrew! Nice to see you back, although I wish it were a happier occasion.
Don't be such a stranger.

Whenever I think of Raffine, I think of this TV show I've never seen :

I think it was a fun memory for him with his... sister? Raffine was a member of this forum who made an impression.
Re-reading some of his posts. Sad to hear he's gone. He knew a lot about b-horror movies.
Bye Raffine, hope to see you again. :(

Are you kidding? Wah-rong!
The TV show is
"The Pruitts Of Southampton".
Tony's sister Cyndi made contact on FB via his page and said that she would be holding a memorial for him in August.
