A thread to reveal behind the scene stories, trivia, fun or sad facts or whatever about bad movies. I'll start with
Camp Fear (1991)

Cheerleader Camp (1988) was a profitable slasher film during VHS rental days for its distributer Prism (Entertainment). Soon enough they greenlit a sequel and filming began in the spring of 1990. Halfway through filming Prism pulled the plug because of financial troubles. Another production company took over, demanding changes to the script. What once started out as Cheerleader Camp 2 became The Millennium Countdown. The movie eventually surfaced as Camp Fear on home video years later.
Camp Fear is many things but not a slasher, even though Betsy Russell from the first Cheerleader Camp was back on board. To complicate matters, they used the poster art from the 1986 Italian slasher film Bodycount, giving the impression that Camp Fear is indeed a slasher.
Basically its about a teacher and students on a field trip encountering evil bikers, a giant druid and a seamonster. Eyecandy includes porn actress Savannah (R.I.P.) trying her hand at "serious" acting, and plenty of Lambada dancing at a club. A hot mess for sure but still plenty of fun cheesy entertainment.
never heard of that one. just watched the trailer...yeah, it looks...erm...yeah.

The guy who was supposed to direct X-RAY aka HOSPITAL MASSACRE pulled out the day before shooting began... Director Boaz Davidson got a call that day, and arrived on the set the next day to begin shooting, having not even read the script or met any of the cast!
