Title: Looking for this movie from late-night TV
Post by: Wish on June 05, 2002, 12:44:28 PM
I believe it's called Reflection of Fear, but that may be the UK release title.
If so, I don't know the American title.  I'm almost (but not absolutely) sure it starred Michael Caine...all I can remember about the plot is he's a divorced man trying to see his adolescent daughter, & the mother is giving him trouble about it... the kid seems pretty disturbed.  At  the end it turns out  the kid is actually a boy, the mother raised him as a girl instead.

Would really like to see this again but not sure about the title or where to find it, can anyone help?

There is a film called 'A Reflection of Fear': http://us.imdb.com/Title?0070599
You can even even buy it on Amazon for the bargain price of $83.95 + P&P.

I remember that  1973 theatrical movie starring Robert Shaw, not Michael Caine,as the dad,and Sondra Locke as the psychotic daughter.
It was an early Columbia/Sony video release in the early 80s,so I'm sure that this title will be a big struggle to find.Good luck on finding it,bro.

Thanks, guys, looks like that's it.  I recognize Sandra Locke...don't ask where I got the idea Michael Caine was in it.  I was half asleep when I saw it the first time.

$83.95 ?!!!  And the 'collectible' version is $35.95...wonder what the difference is.
