This movie! It's directed by Bert I. Gordon- and you folks know who Bert I Gordon is. Mr. BIG! So it's a version of H.G. Welles 'Food of the Gods'. But Welles would pick up a Tommy gun if he saw this! :bouncegiggle:
I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I love this movie! It's got Ron Howard, Mickey Rooney Jr. ( who looks just like his Dad-which is somehow very creepy), and, best of all- the girl who washed her car in COOL HAND LUKE- Joy Harmon!
Which gives me an excuse to play this-!

I also like the giant duck!
never heard of it.
trailer looks groovy and fun. bit of a FASTER p***yCAT feel to it?
the whole thing is on youtube but it's been MST3K-ified, can't deal with that...
The movie is awful, but charming.
Tarantino used the theme song for Death Proof (2007)
Error 404 (Not Found)!!1 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OTe9J6KG4ok#)
...and you don't mention THE BEAU BRUMMELS or BEAU BRIDGES or JOHNNY CRAWFORD...! Or TOMMY KIRK (:bluesad: y'know when he's in it...it stinks).

It's more like a Beach Party movie...with teens dancing and stupid comedy. It pretty lame brain stuff.
And yeah- I don't need snide puppets to tell me how stupid a movie is or isn't.
Oh- the clip I played isn't from VILLAGE OF THE GIANTS. That's from COOL HAND LUKE! And that movie is a classic!

Yes. If
JOY HARMON has a claim to movie fame it's that appearance!

Aye aye, Captain Bligh!
She's the main reason I watch this movie!

I don't know know if that's a DVd cover of something but, looking at the original poster...

Seems liked overly-crowed poster design follows this movie.
That being said, I'd gladly trade places with that guy.
The pic I used is from the pressbook cover.

"That guy" is
JOHNNY CRAWFORD (Lucas' son Mark in TV show
"The Rifleman").
