Title: I don't actually know what to say about this
Post by: Trevor on June 26, 2020, 04:32:36 AM
I don't know whether to laugh or to cry about this: someone uploaded the first film I ever saw in a cinema to YouTube. No, not that one with the murder on a train, but this: Lost Horizon, the bad movie to end all bad movies, which I saw in 1973 when I was six - a family friend took me to see it - and I hated it. Instead of being Lost Horizon, I Lost My reason seeing this. This constipation inducing, bladder-bursting, lame ass, someone's hairy sweaty bum in your face, huge pile of 💩💩 film almost put me off seeing films ever again and if my folks hadn't taken me to see Murder On The Orient Express the following year, I would never have had a hobby or a career which I love and still do.

On the other hand it made me a fan of those so bad it's good movies and also brought me here, so, I guess I owe it something but not a repeat viewing: even if you polish a turd, it's still a turd.

I referred to your GYMKATA viewing experience this past week...
I remember also your distaste for LOST HORIZON - a musical with an interesting cast... never seen it!
