My publishers told me last spring that they would not be releasing any further books this year due to the COVID pandemic, and that they also would not be taking any manuscripts for consideration due to being considerably backlogged. I had checked in a time or two to see if things had changed, only to be told that operations were still on hold.
Then this week I got an email informing me that, despite the fact that my last book, THE GNOSTIC LIBRARY, had tanked (they put it much more kindly than that, but truth is, the book woefully underperformed), they wanted me to send them a new manuscript for consideration.
I have two completed novels that are not yet published, but I really think PRESIDENT HAMILTON is the better and more marketable of the two, so I sent it off to them last night.
I should know by November whether or not it has been accepted.
Wish me luck!
Congrats and good luck!
G'luck, Tex!
