Title: Slaughter / Slaughter's Big Rip-off
Post by: dcj2112 on September 03, 2020, 07:36:07 AM
I guess you could call these movies conventionally bad...except for the fact that they're awesome. When you start the movie with a gratuitous car explosion, its tough to keep up the pace. But damn it Slaughter does its best! These movies demonstrate why Jim Brown should be considered a national treasure

The only drawback is learning Rip Torn seemed waaay too comfortable using racial slurs. I guess it is just a mixture of that being the standard for 1970's Blaxploitation and Rip Torn being a convincing actor. But sometimes it comes off like he didn't even know the cameras were rolling.
