Title: How to Sleep Better

Eight hours of rain sound. It's therapeutic, calming, relaxing and will make you sleep like a baby

I've been listening to ambient rain sounds over my bluetooth headphones lately and it is quite addictive.

Don't have a lot of anxiety when going to bed because then you can't get settled and go to sleep.

use feathers rather than nails or stone for your bed padding

Go to bed about the same time and have the exact same pre-bed routine every time. I brush my teeth and take my pills immediately before climbing into bed.

I also take melatonin, which works, but only when taken regularly.

Try counting through the alphabet and visualizing each letter as you go. If you lose count, either drift off or start over.

I used to be a terrible sleeper, but since I started emphasizing routine I rarely have insomnia and it rarely takes me more than a few minutes to fall asleep.

Actually, a bed of nails is surprisingly comfortable.

"Wake up, Pete! Why you asleep? Don't you know the less you sleep the longer summer lasts?"

That's from a Taco Bell commercial that played a lot in the summer between middle school and high school, and my mom went around saying this for weeks.

As for how to get a good night's sleep? I have ZERO idea.

Hey, okay, here's the commercial. Wow, long time no see....
