This is obscure now, but if you're the right age it reflected lives we really lived and was shown every year since it was new in 1969. I own a bootleg now and have watched it at YouTube for years, but I hadn't seen it in many years. I remember this well, and always loving cats, remember it fondly.
Beauty can be anywhere; sometimes it is hard to see.
Merry Christmas! Everybody!

and a Happy New Year!
too early? :buggedout:
No, it's not too early if one learns to appreciate youth and time and speed. Too early is one way to look at anything. When is it too late?
If it makes you happy go with it. Its been a hard year for many. Take joy where you can.

I have long rejected most "christmas carols" because of familiarity. This one I came to know about 40 years ago. I love it :

I never seen it. Seems like I would have...but I didn't watch any TV unless it was Creature Feature or something on UHF after school. Seems nice.
Merry Christmas to you all!
My favorite was always the Grinch!
Even when I was a little kid, I knew it was Boris Karloff. He was on THRILLER reruns! I had his comic books! His voice was unique. It's like if I was in my room, I knew when Ma and Dad were watching Ed Sullivan or Dean Martin-ya know- because of the voice.

J.T. at YouTube! It is about your message of what Christmas is to you. Sometimes beauty is hard to see, but when you do, it can make you cry.
Here is an animated 1971 A CHRISTMAS CAROL with ALASTAIR SIM voicing Scrooge. It's less than a half hour :

Richard Williams & Chuck Jones. Well done; saw it when I was young. The part with the two skeletal kids under Christmas Present's gown always scared me.
Hooray! Christmas is only two weeks away!

There was a longer version of Snoopy's Christmas, with a speaking segment to set up the song's story.
