My friend Mandy used to have a ferret named Ygraine, who was a cool little beast, but Ygraine had the distressing habit of catching hold of your finger with her teeth and holding on, not quite breaking the skin, just grabbing you like, and then leaping out so she was dangling in space hanging from your finger. Kinda hurt but it was also sort of fun.
