FLESHPOT ON 42nd STREET (1973) - "interesting" soft-core porn    Starring HARRY REEMS (under another name)

GURU, THE MAD MONK (1970)  - from bad to worse  :bluesad:

I was up 'til nearly 5am watching BOTH.

I own both those on Blu Ray and I'd watch those on TCM ... if I had cable.

I definitely want to look at FLESHPOT ON 42nd STREET again.  Splendid trash.

GURU THE MAD MONK is just plain sh!t.  And the girl with the enormous false eyelashes.  In medieval Staten Island.

There's a big Andy Milligan Blu-ray box set out soon from Severin. Raffine would have been thrilled.

But I won't be buying it.  Though I am intrigued by FLESHPOT, it is drek, and apparently as good as ANDY MILLIGAN got.  That is NOT encouraging.

I sort of liked GURU THE MAD MONK in a WTF bad movie way. I haven't seen any others; I'd be willing to give them a chance, but I don't think I'll be prioritizing them. "If you're an Andy Milligan fan, there's no hope for you."--Michael J. Weldon

GURU was jaw droppingly bad, don't need to see that again.  Now FLESHPOT is a WTF bad movie that I "sort of liked".

GURU THE MAD MONK is probably one of Andy's worst.  There are one or two lines that are hilariously dark...but yeah, I agree, it's horrible.

I'm not sure If I will get the box set right away..  I do have all the movies of his that Vinegar Syndrome release though. WEIRDO is not as angry as his other films.

That is an accurate quote.. and there is no hope for me. I love all of Andy's movies. They are a shrine to hate and utter contempt for all humanity.

I seen way too many films by this homeless NYC bum posing as a director.
I don't know whether to laugh or cry or hang a noose from the basement rafters.

This is from his final film, MONSTROSITY (1987).
This could have been made in 1967 instead of 1987.

That's why I love Andy's movies. Living proof ANYONE can be a film director!

I know what ANDY MILLIGAN was including a bum.  And I would not defend him or his work.  Obfuscation.  "Seen"?     :teddyr:

^Huh?

Pretty simple.  Not rocket science.I seen lots of his movies. Never sat threw one.
I am aware of them. I seen them. I never seen one all the way through. It was impossible!
Are you related to this guy or something?
What's your point?
I'm lucky I made it as far as I did.

Tell you what?- They got some Andy movies on Tubie and You Tube- I will actually watch one all the way through.
I'm not looking forward to it.

Dam you, Hallows!  :twirl:

I'll try this attempt at ....I don't know. Maybe ...AHHH!

This is difficult to watch just in short spurts.
I am fascinated by his films- but to actually sit threw a whole movie is slow torture.

PS. I DO like that they scream at each other every other word almost threw the whole whatever the f**k this is.. I'm watching the movie now.  This is like cats fighting in an ally.
I will up date. This is ...I'm glad I'm high.  This is- it's just getting more incomprehensible.
WTF? Now it's just people screaming at each other!

Alright. I just became a fan. This is madness!  :buggedout:

EDIT:

Sorry. I can't do it. Your a better man than me, McGee!
