What kinds of thoughts and statements would you expect from Jason's point of view?

I don't know if I should keep waiting here or try to sneak out and find a better hiding spot... and what if somebody catches me sneaking out of the tool shack. That's just going to be embarrassing."

He is a mindless serial killer suffering from (fanboy theory) hydrocephalus (enlarged head), schizophrenia and dissociative identity disorder. According to legend Jason was 11 when the drowning incident happened. Assuming he wasn't home schooled he must have been in sixth grade at that time. He knew how to read and write unless there was some disability.
We don't know if he had friends or if he was abused by his mother or the whereabouts of his father. Jason learned how to survive on his own in the wilderness, but his thought process would probably be on a level of a young teenager. He's lacking social skills, mental maturity, went through puberty on his own and whatnot. Jason never seemed sexually aroused by his victims which means he most likely had disturbing sexual fantasies involving death that turned him on - like most serial killers.
He never gave the impression that he was pondering the universe as well. Did he watch TV or listen to the radio when he was not killing anybody? Did he sneak into movie theaters or libraries?
Was he good at cooking wild animals all those years? Did he have a favorite recipe or spice? :bouncegiggle:
His thoughts would probably be like
"I must kill"
"You must die"
"Yes mommy"
"need some food"
"need to drink"
"need to sleep"
(Jerry Seinfeld voice)

The mythos says that Pamela Voorhees was overprotective, but I didn't find anything indicating how his nanny, Mrs. Cunningham, had treated him....
Leaves me to wonder what was going through his head those twenty two years he let his mother think he was dead....

Sounds like Rob Zombie needs to step in here and do an origin story for Jason Voorhees like he did with Michael Myers. :cheers:

Jason had a makeshift house / shack in Part 2 with a table and chair if I remember correctly. In the remake he was living in a tunnel that had lights and even a bed. This was probably the closest to normality in his life when he was on his own. Not sure he could get reception for an antenna TV in the woods or the tunnel, being far away from civilization.
I wonder if he ever bothered with the local fishing lodges, or particularly the hunting lodges....
I mean, what did he do in the winter?????
And after forty years, you know all that vacant property would've been hit by a major real estate development; Lake front condos, strip malls, some clear cutting, a few new roads......................
Imagine killing people, but nobody thinks you did it because you're just an urban legend............
