Odd film this: a weird mixture of drama, war, western and romance, all filmed in South Africa starring George Montgomery and Deanna Martin. I was researching it for a client - possible film digitization later - and thought I'd mention it here.

My synopus.....synposes.....oh damnit, my summing up of the movie is
QuoteUltra-violent Anglo Boer war melodrama concerning a family held hostage by three AWOL British soldiers until an American mining engineer saves the day. With George Montgomery, Deanna Martin, Brian O'Shaughnessy and Tromp Terreblanche.

It was made as an independent film for the overseas market so it's possible that TCM screened it. I checked and it was shown on TV in the USA in 1992.
