Just yesterday I was watching Unfaithful, and I have three words to say about Diane Lane: I'D DO HER!!!!! She is portraying a freak in a suburbian woman's body. I mean when she hooked up with that french guy, they were doing it outside his apartment, in the bathroom of a diner (in broad daylight, mind you), even around the front seats of a foreign movie theater (even though, it was empty). As for Richard Gere as the husband, his anger is justifiable, but his execution was criminal, literally. He goes into Frenchie's apartment, they have a conversation about this whole situation. See's one of those snow globes, had some kinda nervous reaction and kills Frenchie with a blow to the head. It wasn't even in blind rage. If I was in his shoes, I'd give Frenchie a couple of kidney shots, tap is jaw a little and a backbreaker for good measure. Premeditated assault would definitely get me a shorter jail time and I'd probably get parole in 2 to 5 years, and I'd tell me wife leave the keys on the mantle, put the cards on the dresser and get the f**k out of my house (apparently, I'd take her back but a while for that to happen). Apart from that, this was a very good movie. I give it 3 1/2 rocking beds.
Thanks for practically giving away everything(except the ending of)this movie offers in it,plotwise.
Now everyone in the world will know about the Frenchguy's gory death,and all else that happens in the first half of the movie.
And,you forgot to reveal one thing:Diane Lane shows her breasts(several times),and gets naked.
Now we can all relax easier,knowing how good this movie really is.
I like Diane Lane. Up until now she's always relegated to playing the "main squeeze" of a hambone leading man like Stallone or Keanu. And it's good to see that films like this are being made. What's the point of having a hot-hot-hotty-hotty-hot-hot in your flick if she doesn't get nude several times? I'm a lonely man and I need this stuff.
