Not for another job but I was contacted last week by a company making a docco about our film industry and specifically our horrible censorship history and they would like to interview me on camera.
Lord knows they'll have to film me through concrete to make me look halfway good  and I need my bosses' permission to participate but so far, so good.
So, we shall see. :teddyr:
^ Good luck!
Wear clean drawers, man...
Hope it all works out well.
Cool! Let us know when it's out.

I don't know if they'll be clean after I'm done but I will. :teddyr:

My bosses have to give permission first so I hope they do: the only issue is one of the people behind this project is someone I genuinely detest and that is rare for me to detest anyone.

I hope so too: you'll all be able to see me in all my................ I can't say glory so I'll just say :buggedout:
have fun
and remember to wear clean undies
They say "Dress for the job you want, not the job you have."
Ignore that. That's a bad idea. The last thing you need is to be showing up to work in dressed as Hugh Heffner or Batman.
Fingers crossed!

Thanks: I'm thinking about getting a thong to wear for the occasion*
* My sister Maggi refers to them as "bum floss" :buggedout:
My bosses said I need to write a submission regarding this: umm, our industry works quickly and this submission will take weeks. :buggedout:
An update: I met with my senior Director - the guy was quite nervous in my presence and I didn't know why until I realized that he was the same person in charge of the group passing me over for promotion - but we had a nice chat and he promised to support me if I chose to be interviewed.
I got quite ill shortly thereafter and I informed everyone - including the Director - that I wouldn't be taking part onscreen in the docco but I would still assist with research and all that crap.
Now, the filmmakers are complaining: my mentor thinks it's a set up. I dunno :buggedout:
I hope you recover fully soon. I understand your reluctance to be preserved for posterity when feeling less-than-100%.
When do they plan to actually put people in front of camera?

Thanks Sister: I guess I'm very tired as well, you can go shopping with the bags under my eyes.
I'm having a Zoom meeting with them on Friday afternoon so we'll see what happens.
They were planning to film interviews this month and they offered to try and fit me in early in the new year so I said I was available for research assistance, finding footage and copyright holders but nothing else.
