Title: My bad movie collection on Letterboxd
Post by: claws on December 21, 2021, 08:37:27 PM
Bad movies I own ranked by IMDb voting counts in descending order. Obviously the less voting counts the more obscure they get.

My Collection > Classics > Bad Movie Nite (https://letterboxd.com/bjfd/list/my-collection-classics-bad-movie-nite/)

My Collection > 1980s > Bad Movie Nite (https://letterboxd.com/bjfd/list/my-collection-1980s-bad-movie-nite/)

My Collection > 1990s > Bad Movie Nite (https://letterboxd.com/bjfd/list/my-collection-1990s-bad-movie-nite/)

My Collection > 2000s > Bad Movie Nite (https://letterboxd.com/bjfd/list/my-collection-2000s-bad-movie-nite/)

My Collection > 2010s > Bad Movie Nite (https://letterboxd.com/bjfd/list/my-collection-2010s-bad-movie-nite/)

I became your first follower. SHOWGIRLS should be rated much higher!

SHOWGIRLS should be rated much higher!

Most likely in another category I'll have to make - 100% Good - 100% Bad

are these movies you don't even enjoy in a guilty pleasure way?

I honestly own and enjoy tons of those, haha

Of course I enjoy most of these but I find it difficult to rate the cheese, so I just throw them in a 100% bad movie pot. For example a 2 1/2 star rating for Showgirls would still be too low, but I just couldn't place Showgirls between Schindler's List  and Shawshank Redemption's 5/5 rating either.

Anyway, retitled the first list.

ok cool, yeah I know what you mean. it's a bit problematic when it comes to ranking films. (although that's half the fun I guess)

A bit harsh to put Doom (2005) and Apollo 18 on the same tier as Sinister 2 and Twilight. They all stink, but I thought Doom & Apollo aren't too unwatchable. Apollo has some alternate endings on the bonus DVD.

The snail pacing and the fact that it is dull makes Apollo 18 a hard watch for me. I do like the found footage aspect. Doom is dumb and violent. Nothing wrong with that, but it has nothing else to offer.

hilarious what Ebert had to say about Doom

Quote
"Doom is like some kid came over and is using your computer and won't let you play."
